Outside of some rain and t-storms on Thursday, this week looks beach ready with highs in the mid 70s and mostly sunny skies. Put that weather to good use with a staycation daytrip or weekend adventure.

How about a visit to Mystic? So much to do there with the Seaport, Aquarium, beaches, shopping, restaurants and more. Check out the Wooden Boat Show this weekend. Yankee Magazine named it one of the state’s top 20 events of the summer! Learn More at http://www.ctvisit.com/events/woodenboat-show

Prefer a more urban setting? How about gliding down a city street on a 1000-foot slip and slide. You can do that at the “Slide the City” event this Saturday in New Haven! There will also be a block party with live music, food, and vendors. Get the details at http://www.ctnow.com/family/hc-slide-the-city-new-haven-20160623-story.html
