Meadow Life Exhibit
With Connecticut’s open space threatened by development, ignorance and neglect, artists have used their visual voices to reveal its beauty and intrinsic value. Other participating artists are Mark Patnode, Garnet Wrigley, Carol Dunn, Dan Topalis, Colleen Tramontozzi and Barb McKie. Media to be displayed include oils on canvas and board, pastels, photographs and textiles. Exhibit is on display through August 5.
Sheffield Island Lighthouse BBQ
New this year, visitors can board the Seaport Association’s 45-foot C.J. Toth catamaran for a cruise to Sheffield Island Lighthouse for a barbecue. Menu includes: Pulled Pork, Sliced BBQ Steak, BBQ Chicken, Corn On The Cob, Tomato Salad, Orzo Salad, 3 Bean Salad, watermelon, soft drinks. Feel free to bring your own beverage.
Flutter Zone Exhibit
Step into a magical environment all aflutter with exotic tropical butterflies in this special walk-through encounter! “Flutter Zone” will features dozens of varieties of beautiful butterflies from Asia and South America, all free-flying among Aquarium visitors.
Some may even land on you!
